Learning Observed In numeracy we have been learning our number facts. Elnaz is being to develop an understanding of number facts to five. She is beginning to gain an understanding of how to create a number sentence and is beginning to do so with support. Elnaz is beginning to develop counting on strategies and is beginning to demonstrate confidence when using  materials (cubes) as a visual aid. She is beginning to gain an understand that addition can be done in any order and to count on by holding the larger number in his head.

NZC Achievement Objective Know groupings with five, within ten and with ten.

Next Learning Steps Continue to develop counting on strategies. Work on reading , reciting and writing numbers to twenty. Continue to work on writing number sentences to five independently.
