Learning Observed In learning Habitat 4 we have been curious about learning our sounds. Elnaz is beginning to develop an understanding of phase one sounds. She is beginning to recognise initial sounds in words. Elnaz is beginning to develop the confidence to contribute in classroom discussions.  Keep trying your best Elnaz!

NZC Achievement Objective Students will associate sounds with letter clusters as well as with individual letters.

Next Learning Steps Begin to read and write initial sounds in words. Begin to write simple sentences using high frequency words.
