In numeracy we have been learning our number facts. Elnaz is being to develop an understanding of number facts to five. She is beginning to gain an understanding of how to create a number sentence and is beginning to do so with support. Elnaz is beginning to develop counting on strategies and is beginning to demonstrate confidence when using materials (cubes) as a visual aid. She is beginning to gain an understand that addition can be done in any order and to count on by holding the larger number in his head.

In learning Habitat 4 we have been curious about learning our sounds. Elnaz is beginning to develop an understanding of phase one sounds. She is beginning to recognise initial sounds in words. Elnaz is beginning to develop the confidence to contribute in classroom discussions. Keep trying your best Elnaz!

iExperience Physical Education ( Ball Skills)

Learning Observed
In physical education we have been focusing on throwing and catching skills using small and large balls. Elnaz is beginning to develop her capability when practicing overarm and underarm throwing techniques and is improving her hand eye coordination. She enjoys collaborating with her peers during games and activities and is also enjoying tennis lessons with Mr Marcell.
